RideADV proudly presents the Triple B North Coast 3-Day Navigation Ride, taking place from Saturday 10th to Monday 12th July 2027, starting in Bulahdelah, NSW, and taking riders through some of the spectacular adventure riding country of the NSW North Coast.
For 2027, we’ve put together a three-day adventure starting in Bulahdelah, travelling north to Kempsey, enjoying a full day of riding based north of Kempsey in what’s described by many as the best riding the Mid North Coast of NSW has to offer before our final day’s adventure on Monday. Expect a fantastic mix of forest trails, flowing gravel roads, twin tracks, fire trails, climbs, valleys and some of the best adventure riding country the NSW North Coast has to offer.
This is a GPS navigation adventure ride. You’re not stuck riding in a line or sitting in somebody else’s dust all day. Follow the supplied GPS tracks, ride at your own pace and enjoy the adventure with your mates. Each day will offer two route options where conditions and terrain allow:
- – Standard Route – Designed for larger adventure bikes and riders looking for spectacular ADV riding without the more technical challenges.
- – Special Route – More technical terrain for smaller bikes or competent riders on larger adventure bikes looking for some extra spice.
You can choose the route that best suits you and change between Standard and Special routes throughout the event. Both routes are supported by our experienced RideADV Sweep Crew, medically trained support riders and support vehicles, with satellite communications and tracking capability throughout the event.
Please note: A minimum 250 km fuel range is required for this ride.
And yes – we carry your luggage!
Accommodation options include pubs and motels, allowing you to choose the style and budget that suits you.
It’s still Your Ride, Your Adventure – we’re just there to keep you on track and help you get safely to the finish.
This ride is for intermediate to experienced adventure riders only.

Sign-On: 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Riders Briefing: 7:30 PM – Plough Inn Hotel
Sign-on will be held at the Plough Inn Hotel in Bulahdelah from 3:00 PM. We’ll complete registration, check rider requirements and organise GPS track loading ahead of Saturday morning. All riders are required to attend the Riders Briefing at 7:30 PM at the Plough Inn Hotel. We’ll cover the weekend format, navigation, safety procedures, route information, support arrangements and anything else you need to know before we hit the tracks Saturday morning.

🍽️ Friday Night Dinner – Plough Inn Hotel
Friday night we’ll get everyone together for dinner at the Plough Inn Hotel in Bulahdelah.
It’s a great opportunity to catch up with the RideADV crew, meet your fellow riders and enjoy a meal before we head off on three days of North Coast adventure.
🏍️ Day 1 – Saturday, 10th July, Bulahdelah to Kempsey
Distance: 350kms
Sign-Out: 7:30 AM to 7:45 AM – Bulahdelah
Saturday morning, we leave Bulahdelah and head north towards Kempsey, but forget simply following the Pacific Highway – this is RideADV country. Expect a fantastic day of North Coast adventure riding, incorporating forest trails, twin tracks, flowing gravel roads, fire trails, climbs, valleys and some spectacular scenery.
Both Standard and Special options will give riders a proper day on the bike, with the Special route adding more technical sections for those looking for an additional challenge.
We’ll finish the afternoon in Kempsey, where we’ll base ourselves for the next two nights.

🍽️ Saturday Night Dinner – Night Off
Saturday night is a free night. There’s no organised group dinner, so after a big first day on the bike, the evening is yours. Head out for dinner with your mates, find somewhere with a few other riders, have a quiet meal or simply relax and enjoy Kempsey.

🏍️ Day 2 – Sunday, 11th July 2027
📍 Kempsey – North Coast Loop – Kempsey
Distance: 330kms
Sign-Out: 7:30 AM to 7:45 AM – Kempsey
Day 2 is a full North Coast adventure loop, starting and finishing in Kempsey. With no need to change accommodation, we can concentrate on enjoying a complete day on the bikes, exploring more of the fantastic adventure riding country surrounding Kempsey. Expect remote forests, flowing twin trails, fire roads, climbs, ridgelines and some sensational North Coast scenery.
Standard and Special route options will allow riders to choose just how challenging they want their Sunday to be. We’ll return to Kempsey for our second night, giving everyone a chance to relax, catch up with the crew and swap a few stories from another big day.

🏍️ Day 3 – Monday, 12th July 2027 Final Day – North Coast Adventure
Route and finishing location: Kempsey to Bulahdelah NSW.
Distance: 330kms.
Sign-Out: 7:30 AM to 7:45 AM – Kempsey
Monday morning, we head out for our final day of the Triple B North Coast 3-Day Navigation Ride.
This won’t simply be a transport stage. Expect another proper day of adventure riding, with more forest trails, back-country roads, flowing gravel and some fantastic North Coast scenery. It’s our final opportunity to enjoy the tracks, the bikes and the company before wrapping up three big days of adventure.
⚠️ IMPORTANT RIDER INFORMATION
Please remember to sign out every morning and sign back in at the completion of every day’s ride. This is critical to our rider tracking and safety systems.
– 🥾 BOOTS ARE MANDATORY
For your safety and protection, MX motocross or Enduro-style boots with proper ankle support are mandatory. We do not accept soft adventure boots. We have seen too many injuries caused by boots that simply do not provide sufficient protection or support. If you are unsure whether your boots meet the requirement, contact TB before the event on 0499 089 715.
– 🛞 TYRES ARE MANDATORY
All motorcycles must be fitted with a minimum 80% off-road / 20% road tyre. This is not negotiable. North Coast conditions can change quickly, and the correct tyres can be the difference between enjoying the ride and struggling all weekend. If you are unsure about your tyres, call TB – 0499 089 715 before the event.
– ⛽ FUEL RANGE
A minimum 250 km fuel range is required. Fuel availability can change, particularly in regional areas, so riders must refuel at the recommended locations even if they believe they have enough fuel to continue.
– 🔧 TUBES & TYRE REPAIRS
Ultra or Heavy-Duty tubes are recommended. If you are running tubeless tyres, we strongly recommend carrying a suitable tube when a damaged or bent rim prevents the tubeless system from holding air. If you are running tubeless, please make sure you have a plug kit. It is our recommendation that you fit tubes. Based on our extensive experience riding off-road, we firmly believe tubeless tyres have no place in serious off-road adventure riding.
– 🚑 AMBULANCE COVER
Ambulance cover is strongly recommended.
– 🧭 GPS & NAVIGATION
This is a GPS navigation ride. RideADV will supply the tracks for each day’s riding and assist with loading compatible GPS units. Riders using tablets or navigation apps will be supplied with the relevant GPX files.
⚠️ IMPORTANT – BACK UP YOUR GPS BEFORE THE EVENT
Please back up any existing tracks or routes that you wish to keep. We need sufficient free space on your GPS to load the RideADV tracks and routes. We strongly prefer riders to arrive with a Garmin cleared of unnecessary old tracks and routes. RideADV cannot be responsible for existing tracks that need to be removed to create sufficient space or prevent confusion during the event.
