RideADV and Yamaha Australia proudly present five magnificent days of Victorian High Country riding at its very best, featuring numerous iconic locations. This highly praised format is back due to popular demand!

Starting and finishing in Jindabyne, NSW, most days offer two route options: a “Standard” route (perfect for larger bikes and those wanting a spectacular but less technical experience) and a “Special” route (ideal for riders on smaller bikes or competent riders on larger bikes looking for a bit more spice).

You can switch routes each night to keep things interesting. Both routes are supported by our experienced Sweep Crew, medically trained support riders and support vehicles equipped with multiple satellite communication devices.

Please note: A minimum 300 km fuel range is required for this ride.

And yes, we carry your luggage!

Accommodation options on the ride include pubs, motels or camping. It’s your ride… your adventure.

💰 FIVE DAYS – $910 TOTAL

The cost for 2027 is a $25 increase over last year, thats just $910 for five fully supported days of spectacular Victorian High Country adventure riding.

Despite the continued increase in the cost of running a fully supported event of this scale, we’ve kept the 2027 increase to just $25 over last year.

For five days of professionally pre-run routes, experienced sweep riders, medical and mechanical support, 4WD backup and recovery, satellite communications, GPS support and luggage transport, we reckon it continues to represent exceptional value. This is a navigational ride, and we’ll load all the tracks and routes for each day onto your device. The ride is supported by sweeps, medically trained support riders, roving support vehicles and luggage transport.

DAY 1 – MONDAY, 1ST MARCH 2027 – JINDABYNE TO HARRIETVILLE

And we’re off!

Day 1 takes us from Jindabyne into the Victorian High Country and through to Harrietville.

With Standard and Special route options available, riders can choose the level of challenge that suits their bike, experience and how they’re feeling on the day.

Fuel and lunch stops will be available en route.

Expect a huge first day through spectacular mountain country, with a mix of backroads, forest tracks, iconic High Country locations and plenty of proper adventure riding.

DAY 2 – TUESDAY, 2ND MARCH 2027 – HARRIETVILLE TO MANSFIELD

Day 2 takes us deeper into the Victorian High Country as we work our way from Harrietville to Mansfield.

Expect some of the iconic country this event is famous for, with route options potentially taking in locations including Craig’s Hut, Mount Speculation, the Staircase, Jeep Track, Goldie Spur, Lake Cobbler and more, subject to final pre-running, track access and conditions.

Again, Standard and Special route options allow riders to choose how much spice they want in their day.

DAY 3 – WEDNESDAY, 3RD MARCH 2027 – MANSFIELD TO BAIRNSDALE

Wednesday sees us head from Mansfield towards Bairnsdale, taking in another massive day of Victorian High Country riding.

We’ll travel through some of the best country the High Country has to offer, passing iconic huts, lookouts, mountain tracks and historic locations.

Routes may include areas around Jamieson, Woods Point, Aberfeldy and Walhalla, subject to the final pre-run, track conditions and access.

DAY 4 – THURSDAY, 4TH MARCH 2027 – BAIRNSDALE TO DARGO

Day 4 takes us from Bairnsdale back into the heart of the High Country and through to Dargo.

Both routes will feature some of the best south-eastern High Country scenery and tracks.

Depending on track conditions and the final pre-run, there may also be an option for experienced riders on suitable bikes to tackle Billy Goats Bluff.

As always, final route options will depend on conditions, closures and what we find during the pre-run.

DAY 5 – FRIDAY, 5TH MARCH 2027 – DARGO TO JINDABYNE – THE FINAL DAY

Our final day takes us from Dargo all the way back to Jindabyne, completing five huge days through the Victorian High Country.

The route will take riders through more spectacular High Country terrain as we make our way north and ultimately back into NSW.

Potential locations and tracks will be confirmed following the final pre-run and will depend on track access and conditions.

• Departure: Sign out at Dargo.
• Fuel and lunch stops en route.
• Final Sign-In: Jindabyne – location TBA.

Once you sign back in at Jindabyne, that’s five days of Victorian High Country adventure riding done!

Please remember to sign out and sign back in after each day’s ride to ensure accurate tracking of participants.

🥾 BOOTS ARE MANDATORY

For your safety and protection, MX motocross or Enduro-type boots are mandatory for this ride.

We no longer accept soft adventure boots, as we’ve seen too many injuries resulting from their lack of support and protection.
