🏍️ South Coast 3-Day Navigation Adventure Ride – April 2027

🌟 ALL NEW ROUTES, OPEN TO ALL BIKES = AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE

This ride is open to all brands and makes of adventure motorcycles.

RideADV and Yamaha Australia proudly present three magnificent days of South Coast adventure riding, starting and finishing in Nowra, NSW.

For 2027 we’ve put together a new three-day format taking riders from Nowra to Batemans Bay, a full loop south from Batemans Bay incorporating new tracks and some of the premium riding used during the 2026 Yamaha Ténéré Rally, before an all-new route brings us back to Nowra on Monday.

This is a GPS navigation adventure ride. You’re not stuck riding in a line or sitting in somebody else’s dust all day. Follow the supplied GPS tracks, ride at your own pace and enjoy the adventure with your mates.

Each day will offer two route options where conditions and terrain allow:

Standard Route – Designed for larger adventure bikes and riders looking for spectacular ADV riding without the more technical challenges.

Special Route – More technical terrain for smaller bikes or competent riders on larger adventure bikes looking for some extra spice.

You can choose the route that best suits you and change between Standard and Special routes throughout the event.

Both routes are supported by our experienced RideADV Sweep Crew, medically trained support riders and support vehicles, with satellite communications and tracking capability throughout the event.

Please note: A minimum 250 km fuel range is required for this ride.

And yes – we carry your luggage!

Accommodation options include pubs and motels, allowing you to choose the style and budget that suits you.

It’s still Your Ride, Your Adventure – we’re just there to keep you on track and help you get safely to the finish.

This ride is for intermediate to experienced adventure riders.

💰 How Much? – Tickets for the 2027 South Coast 3-Day Adventure Ride are $575 – an increase of just $35 from last year. Given the rising costs and current economic climate, we’ve worked hard to keep the increase to a minimum and believe $575 represents exceptional value for three full days of professionally organised and fully supported adventure riding.

Day 1 gets the South Coast adventure underway as we leave Nowra and head south towards Batemans Bay. Forget simply following the Princes Highway south – this is RideADV country. Expect a full day incorporating forest trails, twin tracks, flowing gravel roads, fire trails, climbs, valleys and classic South Coast terrain as we work our way through the Shoalhaven and into the Eurobodalla region.

Both Standard and Special options will give riders a proper day on the bike, with the Special route adding more technical sections for those looking for an additional challenge.

🍽️ Saturday Night Dinner – Night Off

Saturday night is a free night. There’s no organised group dinner, so after a big first day on the bike, the evening is yours. Head out for dinner with your mates, find somewhere with a few other riders, have a quiet meal by yourself, or simply relax and enjoy Batemans Bay. Your night, your choice.

🏍️ Day 2 – Sunday, 18th April 2027

📍 Batemans Bay – South Coast Loop – Batemans Bay

Distance: Approximately 300–350 km – TBC

Sign-Out: 7:30 AM to 7:45 AM – Batemans Bay

Day 2 is a full South Coast loop ride, starting and finishing in Batemans Bay. This will be a big day of premium adventure riding, heading south into some of the best terrain the NSW South Coast has to offer. For 2027 we’ll combine all-new tracks with selected premium sections used during the 2026 Yamaha Ténéré Rally, giving riders access to some exceptional riding country.

Expect remote forests, flowing twin trails, fire roads, creek crossings, climbs, ridgelines and some sensational South Coast scenery. With no need to relocate accommodation or luggage on Sunday night, riders can settle in and enjoy a complete day on the bikes before returning to Batemans Bay for a second night.

Standard and Special route options will allow riders to choose just how challenging they want their Sunday to be.

🍽️ Sunday Night Dinner – Batemans Bay Soldiers Club

Sunday night we’ll get everyone together for dinner at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club. It’s a chance to get the whole group together after two days on the bikes, catch up with the crew, swap a few stories from the weekend and enjoy the night before our final day back to Nowra.

🏍️ Day 3 – Monday, 19th April 2027

📍 Batemans Bay to Nowra

Distance: Approximately 300–350 km – TBC

Sign-Out: 7:30 AM to 7:45 AM – Batemans Bay

Monday morning we leave Batemans Bay and point the bikes north – but we won’t simply be reversing Saturday’s route. Day 3 features new tracks and a different route back to Nowra, giving riders another complete day of South Coast adventure riding.

Expect more forests, back-country trails, flowing gravel, remote valleys and sections of classic NSW South Coast terrain as we work our way north. It’s a proper final day rather than just a transport stage, finishing the three-day adventure back where we started in Nowra.

⚠️ IMPORTANT RIDER INFORMATION

Please remember to sign out every morning and sign back in at the completion of every day’s ride. This is critical to our rider tracking and safety systems.

🥾 BOOTS ARE MANDATORY – For your safety and protection, MX motocross or Enduro-style boots with proper ankle support are mandatory. We do not accept soft adventure boots. We have seen too many injuries caused by boots that simply do not provide sufficient protection or support. If you are unsure whether your boots meet the requirement, contact TB before the event on 0499 089 715.

🛞 TYRES ARE MANDATORY

All motorcycles must be fitted with a minimum 80% off-road / 20% road tyre. This is not negotiable. South Coast conditions can change quickly, and the correct tyres can be the difference between enjoying the ride and struggling all weekend. If you are unsure about your tyres, call TB – 0499 089 715 before the event.

⛽ FUEL RANGE

A minimum 250 km fuel range is required. Fuel availability can change, particularly in regional areas, so riders must refuel at the recommended locations even if they believe they have enough fuel to continue.

🔧 TUBES & TYRE REPAIRS

Ultra or Heavy-Duty tubes are recommended. If you are running tubeless tyres, we strongly recommend carrying a suitable tube when a damaged or bent rim prevents the tubeless system from holding air. If you are running tubeless please make sure you have a plug kit. It is our recommendation that you fit tubes. Based on our extensive experience riding off-road, we firmly believe tubeless tyres have no place in serious off-road adventure riding.

🚑 AMBULANCE COVER

Ambulance cover is strongly recommended.

🧭 GPS & NAVIGATION

This is a GPS navigation ride. RideADV will supply the tracks for each day’s riding and assist with loading compatible GPS units. Riders using tablets or navigation apps will be supplied with the relevant GPX files.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – BACK UP YOUR GPS BEFORE THE EVENT

Please back up any existing tracks or routes that you wish to keep. We need sufficient free space on your GPS to load the RideADV tracks and routes. We strongly prefer riders to arrive with a Garmin cleared of unnecessary old tracks and routes.

RideADV cannot be responsible for existing tracks that need to be removed to create sufficient space or prevent confusion during the event.

For best results, we recommend:

  • Track-Up orientation
  • 3D mode OFF
  • Route recalculation OFF
  • Sufficient free track space available before sign-on
