This ride is open to All Brands and Makes of Adventure Motorcycles

RideADV and Yamaha Australia presents 4 magnificent days of Victorian High Country riding at its very best including, numerous Iconic High Country locations. People raved about this ride, in this format last time, so due to popular demand, It’s Back! The ride starts and finishes in Bright VIC with a selection of routes planned for each day being a “Standard” (suitable for larger bikes and those riders wanting spectacular but with a less technical feel) and a “Special” (suitable for riders on smaller bore bikes or competent riders on larger bore bikes and those wanting a little more spice on the ride… you can change each night if you wish, just to make it interesting). Both routes will have a Sweep Crew and Vehicle Support.

Note, a minimum 250 km fuel range is required on this ride.

Oh yeah, and we will carry your luggage !

Accommodation on the ride is Chalet, Motel or camping. Hey! It’s your ride… your adventure. Yes, we said Chalet!

The cost is less than $150 per day per person for a supported 4 day ride. (That’s for Four days of spectacular ADV riding at its best) This ride is a GPS Navigational ride and includes all the tracks and routes loaded for each day. The ride is supported by Sweeps, Tyre support, Luggage truck and Support vehicles. Yes, that’s right – we carry your luggage!

Friday Night, 15th March, 2024 – Sign on and riders briefing:

Sign on and GPS loading is between 3pm and 6pm at the High Country Motor Inn, 13-17 Great Alpine Rd, Bright. Sign on will continue at the Alpine Hotel, Bright, while we have dinner and do the mandatory riders briefing at 8.00pm. All riders are required to attend the riders briefing . This is regardless of whether you are using your own GPS or riding with a mate and following his tyre tracks. If you can’t make the 8.00pm briefing please let Crash know before the Friday evening on 0417 291424

Day 1, Saturday, 16th March, 2024 – Bright to Dinner Plain, ALL NEW TRACKS

Sign out will be in the car park of the High Country Motor Inn. Fuel and food is available on route whilst we visit, Mt Beauty, Mitta Mitta, Benambra, Omeo and finally Dinner Plain. That’s  after covering approximately 328kms. The special is another 50kms longer. Now, if you know where these towns are, you know what the riding is like inbetween! – and if you don’t, well it’s time you found out!

Sign in is at Dinner Plain. You must sign out and back in after each days riding. There is a pub for drinks and dinner at Dinner Plain. We will be staying at Dinner Plain for 2 nights and riding a day loop on the Sunday. No carrying your luggage in the High Country!!!

Please sign in before you head to your accommodation at Dinner Plain. The Dinner and rider briefing location will be at the Dinner Plain Hotel.

Example : Alps Heimers Chalet – 3 Heritage Lane, Dinner Plain which sleeps 6 for $560. So if you get 4 people for Alps Heimers Chalet it’ll cost $$70 a night per person

Day 2, Sunday, 17th March, 2024 – Dinner Plain to Dargo, then the long way returning to Dinner Plain. ALL NEW TRACKS. Via Blue Rag for the specials.

7.30am to 8 am departure…There will be both Standard and Special routes options for the day.

Sign out and GPS hand over will be at the pre-arranged location given at the evening’s riders briefing. We will be doing a loop, visiting the Twins, Mount Sarah, Wongungarra river, Crooked river, Dargo, Dargo High Plains road (Blug Rag on the special route) and back to Dinner Plain.

Sign in will be back at Dinner Plain. Dinner and rider briefing location is at the Dinner Plain Hotel

Day 3, Monday, 18th March, 2024 – Dinner Plain to Merrijig, ALL NEW TRACKS – Approx 300kms

7.30am to 8 am departure… Sign out and GPS hand over will be at the pre-arranged location given at the evening’s riders briefing.

We will be heading south west down the Jeep track and out to Lake Gobbler, Craigs Hut, High Country Huts and onto Merrijig.

There will be both Standard and Special routes options for the day.

Day 4, Tuesday, 19th March, 2024 – Mansfield to Bright, ALL NEW TRACKS – 250kms

7.30 to 8am sign out and departure. There is an easier out for anyone wanting a shorter day. Route takes us through farm country before getting up on top of the ranges for our run into Bright. As always, there’ll be fuel and food on route.

Sign out and GPS hand over will be at the pre-arranged location given at the evening’s riders briefing.

Sign in will be in the Carpark of the High Country Motor Inn

Places will be limited, as we aim to offer the Best Experience possible for all the riders attending this event. The High Country Ride traditionally fills the fastest of All our Rides – last years’ was full & closed off in just a few days after our 2023 Calendar was release!! So don’t Hesitate OR you’ll Miss Out!
