RideADV and Yamaha Australia are proud to announce the dates to the 2nd ADV Ride to the Police Remembrance Wall Canberra. After the success of the inaugural ride last year we are gearing up for a bigger and better event this year. Due to popular demand we have added a 5th days riding as the return supported ride to Sydney. This ride will include some new tracks while retaining the best of last years route.
RideADV now presents 5 magnificent days of NSW country riding at its very best including, multiple iconic NSW country locations.
The ride is open to serving and retired members (sworn and unsworn) and all other friends, family and proud supporters of policing. The ride is not only a wonderful commemoration of service and sacrifice, but also a fantastic social event for enthusiastic adventure motorcyclist across Australia in celebration of the police family. This ride is the 2nd in what will be an annual ADV ride offered for the Police Wall to Wall celebration ride.
This ride starts at Police Remembrance Wall, Art Gallery Road in the Sydney CBD on Wednesday the 12th at 10am and includes the opportunity for those wishing to attend the Canberra Remembrance Wall ceremony on Saturday afternoon the 15th. Attending the ceremony is not compulsory, those not attending will be able to continue to Gunning for the overnight stay. Both groups will rejoin in Gunning that night for the last day to Sydney.
There will be a selection of routes planned for each day including some “Break outs” (suitable for riders on smaller bore bikes or competent riders on larger bore bikes and those wanting a little more spice on the, just to make it interesting). The planned routes are designed for everyone and are suitable for larger bikes. The route will have sweep crew and vehicle support including the “Break Outs”. Note, a minimum 250 km fuel range is required on this ride.

Ride ADV Police Ride to The Wall, 12th — 16th of September 2018. The cost is $85.00 per day per person, same as last year. (That’s just $425 for five days of spectacular ADV riding at its best) This ride is a GPS Navigation ride and includes all tracks and routes loaded for each day*. The ride is supported by sweeps and support vehicles.
The first day will be a find your way road run to Capertee where will follow arrows to Gulgong. You will need to sign in at the Gulgong Motel 71 Medley St, Gulgong NSW on your arrival. You will hand your GPS in to be loaded and there will be a riders briefing at 6pm in the carpark of the Gulgong Motel that evening that will be mandatory.
