RideADV’s Insanely Cold 2 Day Nav Ride Central West NSW, June 2018 !!

This ride starts and finishes in Lithgow NSW with two routes planned for each day being a “standard” (suitable for larger bikes and those riders wanting spectacular but with a less technical feel) and a “special” (suitable for riders on smaller bore bikes or competent riders on larger bore bikes and those wanting a little more spice on the ride… you can change each day if you wish, just to make it interesting). Both routes will have sweep crew and vehicle support. Note, a minimum 250km fuel range is required on this ride.
This is a two day overnight Lithgow Orange – NAV ride which departs Lithgow on Saturday morning the cost is still only $90.00 per day per person… That’s only $180.00 for two days of spectacular ADV riding at its best… This ride is a GPS Navigation ride and includes all tracks and routes loaded for each day. The RideADV sweep crew and support vehicles support the ride. You need to be at the sign on and GPS hand in no later than 6 pm in Lithgow on Friday 22nd June at the Commercial Hotel Motel Lithgow, 198 Main Street Lithgow contact Phone: (02) 6351 2312.
Sign on and GPS hand in will start at 4 pm and riders briefing is planned for at 8.00pm. All riders are required to attend the rider briefing or you will not be able to start the ride. This is regardless of whether you are using your own GPS or riding with a mate and following his tyre tracks. The Commercial Hotel is the recommended place to stay although alternative Motel accommodation is close by (make your own arrangements) alternative accommodation can be found at Lithgow Hotel, 130 Main Street Lithgow. WE NEED TO HAVE SUFFICIENT SPACE TO LOAD OUR TRACKS AND ROUTES AND WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSING OR WIPING EXISTING TRACKS FROM YOUR GPS TO ENSURE SUFFICIENT SPACE IS AVAILABLE. WE PREFER YOU TO HAVE A GARMIN CLEAN OF OTHER TRACKS AND ROUTES TO AVOID CONFUSION WHEN USING YOUR DEVICE WITH OUR MAPS DURING THE RIDE.

Rider briefing and de-briefing will be at the ibis Styles on Saturday night with the mandatory riders briefing at 7 pm. They have a restaurant at the ibis and the recommended dinner location is the ibis that evening. There are many service stations in Orange and we suggest you fuel up when you arrive Saturday afternoon or before departure on Sunday.

SIGN IN AT BACK OF COMMERCIAL HOTEL ON ARRIVAL.
On both ride days, we will be offering two routes being a “Standard” route more suitable for larger bore ADV bikes and riders who prefer a still scenic, slightly less challenging ride. And the “Special” suitable for experienced riders on any machine and competent riders on smaller bore ADV bikes or those wanting to extend themselves outside their comfort zones.
