2018 Bridge to Bridge – Brisbane to Sydney, 7 DAY RIDE Aug 2018

RideADV.com.au is proud to announce the next ride in the Yamaha Australia and Adventure Moto supported “B2B” (Bridge to Bridge) series. After the success of the 2014 Tony Kirby memorial B2B from Sydney to Brisbane and the 2016 Melbourne to Sydney B2B both paying homage to the father of ADV in Australia, we are ready to announce the next B2B ride. The 2014 and 2016 B2B’s were both great rides and is still talked about by many of our RideADV customers as the best ADV rides they have ever experienced.

So in keeping with our mission of providing great value rides for our friends and customers and meeting the requests of the mob… B2B #3, Brisbane to Sydney (Story bridge to Sydney Harbour bridge) will be seven and a half days of the best riding the east coast of Qld and NSW have to offer. The route will feature new track all throughout the week, including new overnight locations

Plan for Pub, Motel and/or camping style accommodation. It is a full navigation event with a luggage/gear truck and the usual array of fully equipped support vehicles with experienced drivers.

We just want to help you enjoy it and do our best to keep you on track and safe home.
Routes will be planned for each day with a “Standard” route suitable for larger bikes and those riders wanting spectacular scenery but with a less technical feel; and of course a “Special” more technical route suitable for riders on smaller bore bikes or competent riders on larger bore bikes and those generally wanting a little more spice on the ride. With all RideADV rides, you can change between standard and special routes each night if you wish, just to make it interesting or to give you some breathing space.

Both routes will have sweep crew and vehicle support.
So come and join us for the 2018 B2B featuring the best of the Qld and NSW, the Great Dividing Range, there will be ocean views, maybe some of the central west NSW… and finishing under the iconic Coat Hanger… this ride has it all.

Sat 4th August

Meet in Brisbane at Adventure Moto, Tyres 4 Bikes and ADVWorx at 2/259 Cullen Ave East, Eagle Farm, QLD 4009. Please be there between 10am and 4pm for sign in and to receive your sponsor pack and final instructions. There will be a mandatory rider briefing the carpark of Adventure Moto, Tyres 4 Bikes and ADVWorx that evening at 6pm.

Day 1: Sunday 5th August

Brisbane to Stanthorpe, distance TBC. Riders assemble at 7:30am under the Gateway Bridge (Sir Leo Hielscher Bridges) for pre-ride photos. Riders will receive their GPS when signing out after the photos and will then start the ride.

Check-in will be at the Stanthorpe Showgrounds. Riders will be required to sign in and hand in their GPS for the next day’s track loading. The bag truck will be at the showgrounds when you arrive and open until 15 minutes after the last riders sign in. Mandatory riders briefing will be at the High Street Motor Inn Carpark at 7PM

Day 8: Sun 12th August

Cessnock to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, distance TBC. Departure at 7.30am-8.00am. Bag truck will open from 7am for you to load your bags. You will be handed your GPS when you sign out at the Cessnock Showground.

The bag truck will be parked at James Craig Rd, Rozelle, NSW 2039 from about lunch time until 4pm. The truck will then return to ADVWorx, Adventure Moto, Tyres 4 Bikes and RideADV in Dural. Your luggage can be stored there for a short time if you wish to pick it up from there.

Motorcycle Transport To and From the Event

Get it booked sooner rather than later. Bikes shipped to the event can be stored short-term before the ride at Tyres 4 Bikes and ADVWorx at Unit 2/259 Cullen Ave, East Eagle Farm, QLD 4009.
